We wanted to share some exciting news! Thanks to each of you, we have outgrown our current space. Project Thrive CT will be moving…all the way downstairs! We will be located in SUITE 107 in the same building at 1100 New Britain Avenue starting in April. We cannot wait to share our new space with you!
We also wanted to share some important information regarding Telehealth options for therapy sessions. In circumstances where we have to close or if you cannot make it to the office due to illness or other barriers, we offer video conferencing through your Simple Practice client portal. We are currently able to accept Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, Husky and self-pay for Telehealth sessions. The therapy session can be accessed on a computer, tablet or smart phone, and you will simply need to sign a consent form and receive instructions on how to use the program. We suggest calling your insurance carrier to verify Telehealth benefits.
The health of our clients and therapists is extremely important to us and at this time and we are taking extra care to keep the office clean and to provide hand sanitizer in each office. As always, let’s keep each other healthy and stay home from sessions if you are not feeling well, have a fever, sore throat or cough, if you are unable to attend work, or if you have stayed home with a sick child or family member. We extend leniency on the late cancellation policy and will review late cancellation fees on a case-by-case basis. We will continue to monitor the coronavirus situation and follow-up with any changes to schedules or availability. Feel free to speak with your therapist about any anxiety related to the news coverage and illness.
